info@floresis.comSimple steps to keep your handcrafted florals looking fresh, from gentle dusting to proper storage between seasons.
Practical guidance on keeping your silk arrangements fresh, handling custom orders, and knowing what to expect from our studio.
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a gentle feather duster to wipe each petal from the center outward. For deeper cleaning, hold a hairdryer on the cool setting at arm's length and use a low airflow to blow away dust. Avoid water, sprays, and compressed air cans, as they can dull the fabric finish or loosen the stem wrapping.
Quality silk petals are treated to resist fading, but no fabric is immune to prolonged direct sunlight. Place your arrangement away from harsh afternoon rays or rotate it every few weeks so the exposure stays even. If you notice a slight shift after a year or two, our studio can re-cover or re-dye individual stems for a refreshed look.
Yes. Custom palettes are a core part of our work. Send us your swatches, fabric samples, or a simple description of the tones you have in mind, and we will build a proposal around your venue and styling. Most custom pieces take two to three weeks from approval to delivery, depending on the stem count and complexity.
Keep the bouquet upright in a sturdy vase or lay it flat inside a breathable cotton storage bag. Avoid plastic wrap, which traps moisture and can cause the stems to feel sticky over time. Store in a cool, dry closet away from radiators and damp walls, and reshape the petals gently before the next use.
Yes. Our silk flowers are made from polyester and nylon fabrics with natural wood or wire stems, and we do not use pollen or fragrances in the assembly. The main allergen risk is dust buildup, so a regular wipe-down keeps the arrangement comfortable for sensitive noses. If you have a specific trigger, let us know and we can avoid certain materials.
Small repairs are simple. Reinsert the stem into its wire channel and wrap the base with a thin strip of floral tape, which we include with every order. For a detached petal, a drop of clear craft glue on the underside will hold it back in place. If the damage is more involved, contact us through the contact page and we will guide you through the repair or offer a studio fix.
